I’m assuming this is just one of those scripts that just indexes stuff on the internet - like some dimented spider or something. But, anyway, while shamelessly checking my status in the world seen by Google, I was somehow honored to find that I have been Smurfed!
How odd. I feel so smurfy!

Now, this cool online word processor, written with AJAX is the beginning of what I’ve been waiting for.
Imagine online applications that ran like this, from a central server that you could log into and perform all of your basic office-type desktop duties. This app needs a little tweaking but the best part is, since its online, all new revisions are automaticly applied whenever you use it.
I want Google (for instance) to take the OpenOffice suite they bought (right?) and make it available just like this - so I can log into my account and have all of my docs stored in a massive google server somewhere - all of my docs (at my discretion) would be available from anywhere. And all of the software I use would be available from anywhere. That day is coming, I swear it!
But what I really want is an online OS - I want Google (for instance) to build an OS that installs on your compter and automatically logs you into their central servers to use the latest versions of all the basic software, browse the web, write docs, listen to music, store photos, blog, etc - all in one place that I can access from anywhere in the world.
That’s the beginning of the end, people, and I can’t wait!
Oh yea, and this is a cool little web app… guess that’s what got me started, isn’t it?

This is a cool applet that displays websites as graphs. The actual applet is here but I recommend reading the first link prior to going as it explains how the cool thingy is made.
Super cool.
